I love to read, on average, I read 180+ books a year. Crazy right? But here’s the thing. I don’t like reading books with swear words or sex in it and sometimes that can be hard to come by, right?
Well, I have found a plethora of authors who write clean and decided to share them with you! Each week I’ll spotlight a story I’ve read that I really enjoyed and think you might too.
This week I was in the mood for a romantic suspense by J.A. Hinds– A Treasure to Dye For.
Ohhhhhh, doesn’t it just sound intriguing? I love the play on words in the title. The author was very talented at weaving the plot and story in such a way to keep the reader guessing until the very end. Or are you a better detective than me and can figure it out before it’s revealed?
Sadie Harris is a hair dresser and a single mom, with a four year old son, but the father (Carter) has no idea Jackson exists. He returns to town as the new sheriff, and sparks fly when Sadie and Carter meet again. But Sadie was just proposed to by another man, and her grandfather with dementia tells everyone he meets about the fortune Sadie will inherit when he dies.
Trouble starts brewing and danger threatens herself and everyone she cares about. But who can she trust to help her? Carter? Her new fiance? Or someone else? Ohhhh the intrigue and twists and turns in this story were phenomenal.
You can find it on amazon, the kindle price is $2.99 or it’s FREE with kindle unlimited! How sweet is that? Just click here to read the author’s synopsis and check it out for yourself. You’ll have to let me know if you’re a better detective than I am. 😉
